signaltap could not communicate with device

My project could normally complied and downloaded with signaltap.

Even after normally download in signaltag, the board begins to run.

Once I try to begin the analysis, However, the signaltag says:

"JTAG communication error"

the Qii reports at the very same time:

"Error: Can't run SignalTap II Logic Analyzer -- SignalTap II File is not compatible with the file programmed in the device"

The project has been qualified with another similar board.

And the Signaltag and JTAG could download but just could not analysys!!!

all done with QII 9.0 sp2 at Windows XP 32bit

    I just started having this problem with Quartus 10.0 SP1 under Windows7 64bit.

    It is infuriating.

    make sure the .spt file of SignalTap II Logic Analyzer should match the .sof file of the quartus project file
