report cell fanout

I wonder if someone can provide me with details on how to generate a report on the number of fanouts for each cell in the design.

For example in the timing reports generated by Quartus there is a column that shows the fanout number for cells in the path. A small example of the report is included in attachment altera_fanout1.txt. For instance in the report the clock fanout is 97635 and the last FF has a fanout of 62.

Is it possible to generate a report showing the fanout for all cells in the design or for a particular hierarchy? If so can you provide the commands required? Or a script?
