Quartus II's Transceiver Toolkit

Hi,

Can someone please help me get started with transceiver toolkit (I am new to Quartus)? I am trying to link a simple_counter .sof file to my device with a SFP port external loopback just as a test to see how the toolkit works. However, I keep getting the error

SEVERE: Device /devices/5SGXEA7H(1|2|2ES|3|3ES)|..@1#USB-1#DE5 Standard does not match design my_first_fpga.sof (Device has usercode 03171D26 but design has usercode FFFFFFFF)

What's strange is that my device isn't 5SGXEA7H (I triple checked). Could this be the source of the issue?
