Yep, this is perfect.

What I would then normally do, is to start deleting as many entries as I can from _hw.tcl until only the values that "make sense" remain. I do this by looking for the documentation on the entries, and in cases where I cannot find info, I just delete them, and see if Qsys complains. Unfortunately to get Qsys to re-read the _hw.tcl file requires shutting down and re-starting the Qsys GUI. Having a minimum _hw.tcl file does make life easier in the long run though ...
