JTAG only programs the FPGA. When power is removed and reapplied it will load the program that is in the configuration device.

You need Active Serial to program the configuration device.

i would like to see whether the boards work as normal every time i switch on it

why need Active Serial to program, why not JTAG ?

after Active serial program Lab1 into it, i toggle the switch, it do not switch off, where is wrong?
