Vhdl script necessary?

So, I'm a newbie, so I'm not sure of the answer to this question, but I need to know if a VHDL script is required to generate a VWF? When I made the Block diagram and tried to import the inputs and outputs with the node finder, nothing was coming up. :confused:Please help.

Nevermind. I forgot to compile it.

    Did you compile the design and did the in- and outputs count in compilation report?
