Use of Clamping Diodes for ARRIA II GX configuration

Hi,

I am using ARRIA II GX FPGA on my board. I have to configure it using serial configuration device EPCS64 in active serial mode. Can anybody tell me if I have to use external clamping diodes for configuration pins to avoid the overshoot on the pins while configuring EPCS64. I had to use them for cyclone configuration, so I have doubt whether I need to use them with ARRIA II GX also. Please reply.
