use lcd with DE-2

could someone explain how to use LCD verilog please? thankssssss:(:(:(:(

Do you need to make a Verilog module to do it or can you use the NIOS-II processor? It's pretty straight forward using the University Program core if you can do it that way. I haven't any experience with using it otherwise so I can't help there.
