ultra dma 6 for compact flash ?

Hi,

I need to copy a video sequence from ddr (16go) to compact flash card. I would like to be faster as possible : 30MB/s or higher.

UDMA 6 seems to be a good way to reach this rate but seems to be quite tricky to manage. I didn't find any IP and the specification (http://read.pudn.com/downloads128/doc/543022/cfspc4_1.pdf) is quite difficult to understand: a few diagrams, no examples...

I wonder if there is another way to reach high rate, or maybe some documentation to simplify udma implementation.

There are some IP core that can do Ultra Dma, just not free ones. Have a look at this one (http://www.cast-inc.com/ip-cores/storage/ataif/cast_ataif-a.pdf), as an example.

There is an opencore component (http://opencores.org/project,ata) but last time I checked the UDMA part wasn't fully tested (or maybe even not fully written, I don't remember).

I have seen this project but the status said that udma will be supported in OCIDEC-4, not release yet.
