Tips: Windows 10, JTAG not accessible anymore

Hi,

Since I use Windows 10, after programming several time the FPGA via JTAG using the usb blaster II driver, the chain is not accessible and prevents further programming of the SOF.

To solve this: you can stop the JTAGServer in the task manager/services

and the problem is solved.

This was not a problem under win7 using the exact same hardware (Blaster and FPGA board).

Hope that helps you out too.

Note: Intel or Microsoft should fix this.

Using the Quartus programmer 19.1.

Windows 10 version 1803.

I have attached a picture showing how to stop it (right mouse button).
