The pin VCCPGM power supply at AS mode

Hi all, The pin VCCPGM power supply must be 3.0v/3.3v at AS mode in the cyclone v datasheet. why? I select a 1.8v low voltage flash from cypress. Can I connet VCCPGM pin to 1.8v? Thanks...

I think no. EPCQ-L device runs on 1.8V VCC, but CycloneV doesn't support EPCQ-L, only EPCQ device. If it runs 1.8V VCCPGM, CycloneV will support EPCQ-L devices. So I don't think 1.8V cypress flash work instead of EPCS.

I use the 1.8v spi flash from cypress at as mode successfully, and it runs 1.8V VCCPGM.

But I still worry about the reliability.

How can i get the further help.
