Sync multiple Stratix V Advanced Systems Development Board via PCIe

Hi everyone!

I'm pretty new to Altera Devices so please excuse my (maybe foolish) question :)

For a future project i need to sync "SDI"-output over multiple cards maybe also over multiple workstations.

This should be done by using the VITC of the videodata.

My question is:

Could I transfer a sync-signal over PCIe to the other cards?

If yes, is the signal fast enough to make all cards start output at once (I think i need preciseness in milliseconds)?

Like i said I'm new to altera and the whole problem of synchronisation, also to the use of PCIe.

If u got some links to papers or tutorials which fit my problem or my needs would be really helpfull :)
