SUb block with altera

Hello dear all,

I have a question for you:

how can I create a sub diagram to reuse many times in the same project, using Block diagram/Schematic File?

I hope to explain in the correct way what I'dmlike to do....

    for any name I can try to save, It shows me the same alert:

    'Can't open read-only file C:/..../Test.bsf'

    :(

    yes.

    Are you sure you're not trying to overwrite another file with the same name?

    when I push Create/Update -> Create Symbol it appear image in attachment....

    and then to create the file I have to push button Save...isn't it?

    you need to create the symbol file. you cannot save a .bdf as a .bsf.

    I have tried to save the file .bsf, as Test.bsf, but it appear an alert like:

    'Can't open read-only file C:/..../Test.bsf'.

    what does it mean?

    I have Student's Edition.

    in the menus:

    file -> create/update -> create symbol file for current file.

    You can do this with HDL or a bdf.
