Stratix 4 SDI Transceiver Reconfiguration SD/HD/3G (Beginner)

Hello Forum,

I am currently working on a SDI transceiver for the Stratix 4 dev board with HSMC adapter.

It should handle SD-SDI, HD-SDI and 3G-SDI. To switch between the modes of the three SDI standards, i need

to implement an ALTGX_RECONFIG ipcore. Until this very moment I have not understood how the IP-core works. I know it serializes the parallel red data from a ROM.

BUT IN NONE OF THE USER GUIDES IS A SINGLE HINT FOR THE CONTENT OF THE ROM. Furthermore I don't know whether I should implement an on-chip ROM or the ROM handler and the ".mif" are already included in the ALTGX_RECONFIG IP-core. This problem already took me days and too many user guides so my last chance are you guys.
