SRIO Connection

I am trying to connect a cyclone V fpga to a TMD 6678 DSP using the SRIO lines. I have gone through the releveant documentation and the code but I don't understand how the connection is to be made. I simply need to know what design file to use, what signals need to be connected and what I need to do with the signals.
