speed grades

Hi all,

i have a general question regarding speed grades.

I compiled my quartus project for cyclone III speed grade 8 (EP3C16F256C8). Timing Analysis using "classic timing analyzer" passed successfully.

Can I program speed grade 7 devices (EP3C16F256C7) with this image?

    Yes, you can. Speed grade 7 is guaranteed to keep all specifications of the slower speed grade.
