SoC solutions

Dear Team,

I have a question regarding the new SoC solutions comprising and ARM-Cyclone or an ARM-Arria combination.

What is the status? As an old Altera user :) I'm very interested taking the chip as a part of an embedded system in our university program. Maybe, I can also get the answer to, what makes your SoC solution smarter/better than the one proposed by Xilinx (Zynq)?
