Reconfig PLL in ALTMEMPHY

Hi,

In ALTMEMPHY, the internal PLL can be reconfigured, if I don't want to reconfigure, is there any difficulty for design? Which pins to be set? Because I'm a new in PLL field, something in PLL I am not clear.

    Hello,

    ALTMEMPHY is quite new and I didn't use it yet. As far as I understand, PLL reconfiguration is used for timing calibration and is necessary to get the benefits available with ALTMEMPHY. This may be one of the reasons why ALTMEMPHY can only be used with newer devices that utilize PLL reconfiguration. I guess ALTMEMPHY is a good choice for medium speed DDR RAM interface with low resource requirement. I'll try it with a pending Arria GX design.
