hi all
i'm trying to simulate a project using vector wave form simulator, but i couldn't find it in is this free version doesn't support it?another thing when i tried to assign ports to my D-FLIP i couldn't find the option that gives me pins assignments in assignment Editor...any proposition how can i assign my pins ?i'm working on cyclone device. cheers5 Replies
Altera_ForumQuartus 10, 11 and 12 don't support wave form simulations. Use Model-Sim instead. For pin assignments I use pin planner.

The Qsim simulator does support simulations for the Cyclone IV family though. I just found out the hard way and now transitioning to ModelSim
