Honored ContributorI tried to program some EPM3256 devices on the boards (I also have Blaster2 connector). I used to have MAX Plus II. But I couldn't find the software anymore. Now I have Quartus II. I want to the 30-day evaluation but it doesn't have programming file support. Please let me know what I can do just to program some old boards I built long time ago.

ftp://ftp.altera.com/outgoing/release You can probably use the Quartus II Web Edition, or the Quartus II stand-alone programmer. However, if the device is too old, the newer Quartus versions might not recognize the silicon IDs.
