Problem faced when generating system with SOPC builder

I just installed Quartus ii web edition ver 11.0 sp1.

Using the SOPCbuilder, i added modules such as nios II CPU, PIO, JTAG UART and on-chip memory(RAM/ROM).

After which I proceed to generate the system.

However, the status of the system generation hangs at "Info: Starting module elaboration".

Will anyone knows why?

    I have the same problem.

    Does anyone know what this elaboration does?

    I think the nios 2 can already be used in the quartus project.

    Hi,

    in my case it turned out that it doesn't hang but takes several minutes (>10min) to show the next progress.
