I believe "Altera" is not an typical English word and my friends pronounce it in many different ways I wondered is there an offical way to pronounce it ?:confused:

It's pronounced "All" + "tear" + "Rah" (it means something in an old language.... I forget what though) And since I always hear people back home say Nios wrong it is "Nee" + "OS" (doesn't mean anything, it may have come from a random letter generator for all I know :))Honored ContributorAltera was named after the word "Alterable" dropping the "ble".
