13 years agoNumber of gates ?
Hi all.
From the datasheet i got from internet for FPGA Cyclone IV (EP4CE6E22I7N) do not mention the number of gates. What does its means? If compared with flex 6000 family(EPF6016TI144-3), its do mentioned the number of gates but not the total RAM bits. It's like vice versa between the two FPGA. Can someone explains it to me please. Is it related between number of gates with total number of RAM? p/s : Attached is a comparaison i made between 3 FPGA (i need to replace the left one) Thanks and Regards13 Replies

There are a few cores available on Opencores:

I would go with the cyclone 4 - the cyclone is an older part not supported by the web edition any more, and has no built in multipliers.

Thanks for your suggestion. I preferred a FPGA that have more I/O. You have your point there sir. Thank you.
