NIOS II and flash compatibility

Hi All, Can I use any CFI Flash device with NIOSII? In this case, where does the SOPC builder know where to get the flash driver from? Appreciate all the help. -sanjay

When I add a CFI in the " .ptf " , I find I can select 8/16/32bits data width with the flash.

Is there any 32bits data width flash on sale? Most of the flash data width is 8/16bits width, what does the 32bits mean?
