Mouse/keyboard Inputs

Question

Hi, i am currently using a cyclone ep1c12q240c8 board, and i am trying to create a game where the user clicks on bowls and rocks will jump.

I am using the program Quartus II, to program with.

I tried to use the demo files on the Altera Website http://users.ece.gatech.edu/~hamblen/up3/

but i don't have any luck compiling the .SOF files, i get this error

Error: Can't configure device. Expected JTAG ID code 0x020820DD for device 1, but found JTAG ID code 0x020830DD.

Can someone please steer me in the right direction

If using a mouse to to difficult , ps/2 keyboard would do as well

You are trying to program EP1C12 with a sof file compiled for a different device, probably EP1C8. That doesn't work.
