Hi
I'm working on a custom board containing a MAX10 FPGA (10M50SAE144C8G). I thought it would be nice to use the instant-on feature. When I started the design, I found the following information which I thought is relevant: In the MAX 10 Power Management User Guide ( https://www.altera.com/content/dam/altera-www/global/en_us/pdfs/literature/hb/max-10/ug_m10_pwr.pdf): --- Quote Start --- VCCIO must ramp up to full rail before VCCA and VCC_ONE start ramping --- Quote End --- However, in the current document revision (2016.05.02) I can’t find this information anymore. The revision history mentions: --- Quote Start --- Updated the information for the single-supply device in the Instant-On Power-Up Sequence Requirement table. --- Quote End --- Furthermore, in the current revision of the MAX 10 FPGA Configuration User Guide (2016.05.13) https://www.altera.com/en_us/pdfs/literature/hb/max-10/ug_m10_config.pdf (https://www.altera.com/en_us/pdfs/literature/hb/max-10/ug_m10_config.pdf) they removed the information about the instant on feature. --- Quote Start --- Removed Instant ON feature. --- Quote End --- Why does Altera remove this relevant information from the documents? Is there a problem with this feature? Thanks and with best regards Chris
