i want to make a portable device for real time audio processing such as FFT(16bit sound sampled) and Digital Filter it's 3.6v Battery powered and use from 4.3" TFT LCD touchScreen for display. Please advice me thank you10 Replies

excuse me i wanted to use from tms320vc5509 (for dsp such as real time fft, digital filters) and one fpga or lcd driver chip for lcd driving and cortex-m3 for link between lcd & dsp chip & memory. I realized that fpga could used for lcd driving and use from niosII instead of the cortex-m3 so cyclone III with 24k LE better than from tms320vc5509+cortexm3+lcd driver ? my device is similar the belowe image: http://www.partlancer.com/pics/DSO-Nano-v2-Digital-Storage-Oscilloscope.jpg thank you- Altera_Forum
Yes, Cyclone II and III are good for digital signal processing stuff.

Yes, it has audio ADC + DAC for multimedia application. It does not have general purpose IO.

Nios II Embedded Evaluation Kit, Cyclone III Edition is a good candidate. However, it does NOT have any ADC or DAC. Good luck.
