LVDS to mini-LVDS

Hi,

I know, some of the Altera devices (like Cyclone II) supports mini-LVDS IO standard (for outputs only).

But for others, can I use LVDS IOs (outputs) to connect to the mini-LVDS IOs (inputs) of LCD driver?

Can LVDS outputs be directly connecetd to the mini-LVDS inputs?
