Load previous configuration to FPGA at start up, possibility?

Hello,

When shut down FPGA kit, all chip is reset to empty. If I want to program it, I have to connect it to computer to control through Programmer in Quartus II .

Is there any way to save programming file (or several programming files) to board and load them respectively at board start up, or manually on board without Programmer??

I use Cyclone III development kit .

    Hi,

I'm being helped in something very similar. Follow the thread: "When I power cycle (on-->off-->on) the FPGA it losses *.sof file"

Did you notice this user manual chapter "Programming the Configuration Flash Device"?

You can use a flash like EPCS and program it with a pof or jic to auto load your fpga after a power cycle.
