License error

Hello

I have a licensed Quartus II 9.1 seat and I am trying to compile my design and keep getting an error

Error: Current license file does not support the EP3C40F484C6 device

Shouldn't this compile? Am I doing something that would prevent the compilation? What could be some of the root causes?

    In my quick search on this issue, it appears to be a license check-out problem, where either Quartus is asking to check out two seats and it only has one (Bug in version 7.0), or somehow one of the licenses got checked out and is not currently available. (Floating license, where someone else grabbed the license or the license got checked out, and something happened and it never got checked back in.

    A reboot of the license server or restart of the license service should clear this up..
