Honored ContributorIn order to read the JTAG ID code of the device, you need to know the JTAG instruction for that purpose. You can refer to the FPGA handbook for the instruction code.
You need to shift in the instruction code to the device through JTAG in order to read the JTAG ID code of the device. Hope this helps.
