implement my rom with memory block inside

I have made my rom.v with verilog,so I can realize it clearly. then the question is coming, I want to know that could the Quartus identify the rom maded byself and synthesize it with memory block inside ? How to initial it with .mif file. I am waiting for your advise.

    I don't think it's easy to have inferred rams initialised with an *.mif file, unfortunately.

    Any rams I've initialised I've created with the Megawizard and defined the config file there.
