Hardware Interruption in ModelSim

Hi,

I'm trying execute a hardware interruption (by NiosII) in ModelSim but doesn´t work. I write a script that do the tasks of the external hardware and i describe one Core using VHDL, then these Core send a signal that sinalize one interruption to Nios . Somebody knows if the interruptions are simulate in ModelSim?
