13 years agoFPGA serial numbers/VHDL only runs on one device.
I want to make some code that will only run on certain devices. My idea like with other processors that most have a unique ID number or serial/batch number and I can read the number and compile my VH...

13 years agoThere are some application notes about "design security" on the Altera website:

Most of the newer FPGA's have design security features build in, just read the datasheets.
