Honored ContributorI am currently waiting for the chips to come in, so when they do I will test them. I did find this table on Altera's website: http://www.altera.com/support/devices/tools/altera/software/tls-altera-software.html#notes which clearly states that I need to use MAX+Plus II for pga packages, so at least I have the software narrowed down.
