Face Recognition Algorithm Suitable for Hardware Implementation

Dear All,

I am a student and currently doing a project in which i have to implement an algorithm on FPGA using Verilog HDL or C++ langugae (necessary conditions). I have searched on internet and found that there are many algorithms for Face Recognition and majority of them are suitable for software purpose. My question is that which algorithm is most appropriate for hardware implementation for a real time device. If anyone can hel me to sort out this, it will be a great help to me. If you have any link from where i can study about then it will also be a fruitful method. Waiting for a favorable response.
