Epm9320 & epm9320a

Hi everybody!

I`ve tried to find the problem through existing forums, but couldn`t, so have to post new.

Help me please, I`ve got not trivial question.

There are two subfamilies in MAX9000:

- EPM9320;

- EPM9320A

When connecting the device via JTAG I can read an IDCODE, the following one:

- 0000 1001 0011 0010 0000 000011011101

This IDCODE corresponds to EPM9320A according to the official datasheet altera.com/literature/ds/m9000.pdf page 24. Who knows specify please can it correspond to EPM9320?

Why can`t I program this device from EMP9320 using MAX+PlusII? While trying to program there is a message "Device version is not enabled-install a newer version of MAX+PLUS software or enter a new device password". What is wrong? Max+ shows only the device from EPM9320 family, but do not show my device from EPM9320A.
