Device not installed in Quartus II Web Edition

Hi,

I am currently working on a Nios II Stratix II development kit. The device that comes with the board is EP2S60F672C5ES. However, when selecting the device in Quartus II Web Edition, the device is listed as not installed.

EP2S60F672C5ES (not installed)

Does the Web Edition not support this device? Or is it only supported in a licensed Quartus software?

    You need a Quartus II license in order to it supports Stratix II biggest devices.

    I have exactly this same problem, but I already configured my license at License Setup and the "not installed" still there

    As previously stated, the largest of altera devices are not supported by the web edition.
