New ContributorDe4 board: boot from CFI flash
Hi
I’m tried to boot .sof and .elf files from CFI flash on DE4 board. I’m step by step follow DE4 getting started guide. Files programed success to flash but .elf file not work.
so what’s my problem????

Hi KPhan4,
I suspect your JTAG frequency might be the root cause for .elf file not work.
Can you kindly try to reduce your TCK frequency to 6 MHz (default value)?
Below link is the command to change TCK frequency (on page 14= 2.8. Changing the TCK Frequency)

i’ve tried and result:
Error: no param JtagClock
I programed .sof to flash and run Debug app on Eclipse. It worked. So Nios’ reset vector and reset value when i convert .elf cause for it not work???

For latest design development, we recommend to use sof file rather than .elf file.
