Cyclone V (5CSXFC6D6F31C6) DE10 input 5V differential line (RS485)

can I connect 5V to DE10 GPIO according to this using 160 Ohm?

Is Cyclone V clamp appropriate for this?

How can I check it?

The fact that the PCI clamp isn't working before the device is configured can be reason enough not to rely on it.
