Cyclone IV support for Image Processing

hi,

Please guide me if i can use DE2-115 board with Cyclone iv FPGA chip for the basic Image Processing like executing an algorithm for Centroid Search from a mono image.

Also if Cyclone IV can handle 6Gbps data coming from HSMC Port?

any suggestions please......
