Cyclone III expansion prototype connectors

Hi,

I am using cyclone iii EP3C25F324C8. I am trying to connect uart using the expansion prototype connectors. But it is not working.

I have avoided using clock pins. Is there a special pin that i have to use for rxd and txd, or i can use any pins on the expansion connector.

    You can use any pin with suitable IC voltage. In some cases pin placement rules could be violated, but Quartus fitter will tell you then. You can also check in compilation report pin-out list, that the pins actually have been placed where you wanted them.
