Cyclone III DDR problem. Need help

I guess, you instantiated the core manually? I can only say that the qb3_control_panel project, that uses DDR2 can be compiled as shipped with the starter kit. (I don't have the starter kit, I just compiled for trial.

It may be generally more easy to modify an existing example project, cause it contains all necessary definitions including pin assignments with termination etc. If you start a project with DDR HP controller from the scratch, you should follow the directions from Megawizard regarding execution of TCL scripts to make all necessary settings.
