hello, what's the recommended clock frequency for cyclone 3 FPGA's? What is the criteria for selecting the clock frequency ? thank you

Honored ContributorClock speed is extremly design dependent. 1GHz is much too high a frequency. More realistic are 100-200Mhz, and you need some serious pipeline considerations to go faster than this.
