Clock Skew doubt

Hello, Clock period = (register to register delay) - (clock skew) + Micro Tco + Micro Tsu Why are we subtracting "clock skew" Thanks, AA

a. yes

b. no, you the designer inserts synchroniser directly or by using dc fifo...

c. yes and no. you should say unrelated clocks rather than Different clocks which may be related e.g. 20MHz and 40MHz may be related if say generated from one other clk and you can synchronise between them.
