Clock Skew doubt

Hello, Clock period = (register to register delay) - (clock skew) + Micro Tco + Micro Tsu Why are we subtracting "clock skew" Thanks, AA

I am reading about Timing analysis through the documents provided by the Altera Website. I have a very hard time visualizing all the details. How did you learn about it? can you send me some of the important resources you have collected.
