Cannot open Pin planner and Assignments->pins

Hi have quartus 8.1 for linux. I cannot open anymore these windows. I think it's related to the configuration of Compiz Fusion.

    Is Compiz Fusion an unsupportedversion of Linux?

    I am not a Linux user, so if my question is ill formed, sorry.

    no the version is ok. i don't know maybe i need to reinstall quartus
