Cannot generate .sof file for CPLD

I've built a simple test project for some new hardware using a MAX II CPLD, but I can't get it to generate a .sof file for programming the device, all I get is a .pof file which isn't any use (I'm us...

the .pof file is the correct file for programming CPLD.

.sof files are only for SRAM based devices.
