The manual reflects the available FPGA families at it's publication date. I don't expect restrictions, as long as your circuit uses a programmer voltage of at least 3.0V. But the Altera recommended voltage of 2.5V is outside the Byteblaster MV specification.
As another restriction, Byteblaster MV doesn't support As programming. - Altera_Forum

Thanks for reply. So for in this case(cyclone III and IV) we have to use USB Blasters only. So i think in my previous thread of Byte Blaster cable Length problem might be of this issue also. Regards Kiran - Altera_Forum

if your circuit is designed to use 3.0 or 3.3V for the JTAG inerface, it should work with ByteBlaster MV.

No. My circuit is designed for 2.5V for JTAG power supply. Thanks once again Fvm.
