1024 fft

sir, iwant to wrote a program on 1024 fft. how will i proceed means whats the steps or component i should programmed to construct it. plz help:(

pardon sir,i want to mean to write 1024 point radix 2 fft using decimation in frequency algo. now sir, can u plz suggest me how will i proceed? i know i have to design butterfly structure,but can't understand how to differentiate real or imaginary terms etc......... plz help
